What he did as Batman is of high regard. As much as he could be acclaimed for on the TV/video game front, it stands there with the big budget Hollywood Batman's knight and day.

Been saying this for over a year but no one cares.

A disproportionate amount of voice workers are dying since the pandemic began.

Oh my god…. Definitely the best actor to ever play the part. I loved that show so much growing up, and it was amazing to hear him play the part again for the Arkham games.

Fun fact ... he was always really into acting in the thereater .. thats what he did before batman, during and after
 
I can't tell you how much I love his Batman. There is such a confidence in his voice. Watching as a kid, you just knew this guy was going to make sure everything was okay.

My guess is that irritation and inflammation of the airways between the lungs and the throat (from strenuous voice work) increases susceptibility to the virus.

I'm not saying he died of covid. I'm saying it further weakened him.
 
Kevin Conroy was THE Batman and the voice I will always associate with the character.

RIP one of the best voice actors in the business.
 
He was absolutely definitive for Batman. There are few voices that even come close to completely encapsulating what a character is. This sucks.

Where that an even remotely plausible theory then you'd expect choir, opera, and concert singers to be dying WAAAAAAAY before "voice actors", a group who talk no more than regular actors, start dropping from covid, which isnt even relevant for this great man's passing.

I can only hope he has spoken every word such that an AI can perfectly mimic his speech so we can have him as batman forever more once we get to the point where we can mix and match actors in films.
 
People argue about who the best Batman was. Kevin Conroy is the only true answer.
