Impossible! Kikizo is claiming the Ultimate:

Ten hours of simply the best HD E3 video coverage you can find, covering everything on PS3 and Xbox 360 along with masses of handheld and current-gen titles, all-new stuff and some surprise bonuses.

Kikizo is proud to present the E3 2005 edition of its Ultimate Video Coverage, so called because, well, it's the ultimate. We have put together an awesome, completely free collection of videos boasting the kind of quality you might expect from DVDs that usually see release months after the show - and better.

So much so, we're smashing last year's effort with a huge set of progressive 60fps media, with full-power bitrates that really deliver the quality you want to see from software on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

We are even offering multiple versions of certain videos because we feel that, while 99% of this blowout is genuine direct-feed, even more detail is visible in certain cam-filmed videos with some direct feed audio inserted for good measure. Basically you get it all - and there are several of the alternative versions you should definitely check out.

Amazed that there are some videos in there that you haven't noticed yet... This thread needs more attention! ;-) And I need more love!

making this feature has quite literally taken moments of blood, sweat and indeed, tears.

Dude, Tekuno fucking raped Kikizo. He has over 4 DVDs (and a 5 DVD set coming) filled with vids from E3. Every single platform (except ngage/Gizmondo), and a full DVD with just interviews from G4/IGN/Gamespot. It's 25gigs+ all considered ;)

And he wraps it up so nice too!

TEKUNOROBBY > ALL E3 COVERAGE

Right, but that's like saying Bittorrent is better than iTunes or Tower Records. There is a difference between sticking tonnes of other sites' media on your distribution and calling it the best and actually doing it properly from scratch.

Especially when one of the things that a genuine approach allows you to do is to produce better quality media from the outset, something that nobody else has done when it comes to a lot of the 60fps clips for example. You won't find better clips of many of the hot items. And some, you won't find elsewhere period. So actually, I would disagree! I would say that actually Kikizo raped everyone. :)

Man, dude. You just don't know. Tekuno's collection is like a rare archive that has singlehandedly gathered every worthwhile video from E3 into one megaset. There's no comparrison.

I'm sure yours is nice too, of course. But you ARE pimpin' it, so -10 points ;)

Do any of the DVDs that are being released by various sites have the news conferences on the DVDs in their entirety - unedited, etc. (aside from the green screen in the MS one obviously) - basically the whole things you can download on IGN and Gamespot from start to finish?

And I can just watch that Heavenly Sword trailer over and over and over again and never get tired of it!! :D

Tekuno's does! Plus tons of booth tours!

You have to be on the winning team to receive the videos, stick with Kikizo

amir0x is an exception

He's going to be angry at me... you have to ask him about it personally. He's not selling them, only giving them away as gifts. Because he loves me and demi.

Maybe he'd be willing to give it out on a more widescale if people offered him a few bucks, though. You'd have to ask him.

Not really, I didn't start the thread. (I would have if I didn't find this today).

I will be honest tho; I did not even hear about Tekuno's collection (way to busy the last couple weeks to follow the board as closely as usual) and it sounds interesting. But my points re: ahem, plagiarism and secondly, quality etc still stand.

This kikizo feature is something available to everyone, on a site - not a "rare" (?) privately distributed thing, there are significant differences in logistics and frankly in principle here. Regardless, gimme details pls...

Haha, he's not working for a site or something the videos are widely available for download for everyone, he just collected them into one grand ULTIMATE set... nothing about plagarism, the videos are clearly labeled! And for most of the videos, the quality is very good.

That said, lighten up. I'm just teasing you, I haven't looked through your vids yet to see if it's better or not. I just love TekunoRobby ;)

Obviously, I think IGN or GS would have something to say if people were selling a DVD full of videos with their watermark on them.

BUT... under the table... *raises eyebrow*

Will

for DVD!!! :D

I'm joking of course, if it's just the IGN or Gamespot files burned to a DVD than I can download those myself with GS Complete, I was kind of hoping for a higher resolution, less compressed feed of the conferences that I could play on a regular DVD player.

Please don't blow this out of proportion, I dont think Tekuno will plan on selling his DVDs, they were just a gathering of videos for amirox and others who were on 56k I think, I just decided to get some free stuff :D

As I said, stick with Kikizo

yeh, pretty much. It's mainly for 56k peeps who didn't have no fancy broadband ;)

The green screen is an example of the rare material that Kikizo is offering "in tact".

Well exactly :)

Hey, I hereby give permission for Tekuno to use kikizo's files in the compilation as well. Frankly he should replace some of the existing ones with Kikizo's for the final *cough* "DVD set" for the reasons I already detailed earlier. ;-)

So... first we give it all for free then we permit/encourage mirrors and compilation use! We should get the Nobel peace prize.

If the other compilation is just IGN/GS vids, Kikizo definitely has the edge. The quality is quite a bit better than that of the IGN Insider vids that I've been viewing. Very, very clean.

Maybe it's just my PC, but I have yet to download a video of the Killzone trailer that has the sound in sync. Or maybe the direct-feed that was made available has that error in it.

Check out DOA4! Check out DOA4!

Yep, there was a picture delay of about 1/2 second in Sony's direct feed at the conference which I forgot to correct, we may go back and fix this but for this weekend I have had quite enough editing/rendering to last a lifetime.

However, it's the CAM version of Killzone and MotorStorm you should really take a look at; they're better than the direct feed versions in my opinion (and with DF audio).

damn, that heavenly sword trailer is impressive. that's with real time assets right? i remember something akin to that at beyond3d.
come release this and 99N will trigger huge debates from both camps.
hahahahaahaha...that should be interesting.

"heavenly sword has cryo-arithmetic synaptic signatures..."

"well 99N uses quasi heuristic z-transform algorithms..."

"YOUR MOM!!!"

What kind of computer do you need to run the HD videos without dropping frames? I've downloaded a couple and they are choppy on my parents' P4 2.4 GHz.

A very good one -- of course these videos aren't actually HD. They are normal resolution with a high bitrate. Since they are somewhat mislabeled, you might have better luck with them than you did with true HD videos.

Check out IGN's Masterbit videos or the HD 360 videos on Microsoft's site for something that will really bring your computer to its knees. My system has trouble with MS's videos and it's 2.5 Ghz. The IGN DOA4 clip is so good though, it looks like it's really running in realtime on your PC....

I must say, they really outdid themselves this year. Though, I would have been even more impressed if they had their own footage of DS games. Meh, still great coverage.

The downloads aren't working for me for some reason. Can someone send me a direct link? I just need the luna tech demo and the red dead revolver 2 trailer.

Kikizo rocks, that's incredibly cool of you guys to provide those videos free of charge. I highly suggest everyone to go to their website and check out their exhaustive collection. You guys have everything!

This is very important: I am not selling or distributing any DVD collection, Amir0x and demi are just having fun. Secondly please stop jumping to incorrect conclusions (plagiarism, selling, lesser quality) and PMing me. :(

Happen to know Rampage99 (Rick)? ;)

Wow, nice collection. Thanks for the effort kikizo.

The Alfred Molina and unreal engine tech demos look awesome. Currently grabbing leaves, ducks and PGR3.

It's impossible. And we tried at IBPD's highest levels. Do you even know what IBPD is? Thanks though, you're a great guy!

ohohohohoh! Beat that, Kikizo! Only for matching it!

Oh, bullshit. What was I born yesterday? Name the source! I just give up with you guys!
GAF > Me etc.

Also, this special wanking club for members only with all the stuff from IGN and Gamespot sounds really ace! This is not a jab at Tets, more at the special wanking club.

:lol Special wanking club.

Hey Kyoto no hard feelings, I have nothing to do with the antics of demi and Amir0x (although they're great guys). I'm checking out the videos and you guys did an ace job, I see what you mean with the cam footage showing details that some direct feed sections doesn't.

wahhh wahhhhhh kikizooooo wahhhhhzoooooo

man shut up you crazy wanker

sod off

i'll wank in your hair

I TRIED defending your site, I even said STICK WITH KIKIZO but you just had to cum around with the wanking club retort. Truly uncalled for!

Haha. But you have to admit, it is a bit of a special wanking club. Especially when you only said "stick with kikizo" to save your own "nobody else can join our special wanking club with dvds full of ign and gamespot vids" ass. Also our DOA4 is clearly the best. Is everyone fucking blind or something? 60FPS JUST LOOK.
