Killer 7; a worthwhile game?

According to the 'next issue' in the back of Nintendo Power, the guys over there hav already played Killer 7 and will put it as their cover story next month.

The implication iz that it might be a worthwhile game to get afterall. Capcom's certainly been on a streak since Viewtiful Joe, so here's to more gaming goodness on the Cube.

i think CO_Andy's right. It might be good. Or it might suck. It might even be mediocre. Hopefully, we'll all be able to form an opinion on it after playing it this summer. i hope.

Usually it would be safe to assume that a Cover story game on Nintendo Power is at least going to appeal to nintendo fans, if not many more people. I'm really hoping after both VJ and RE4 that Capcom pulls this one off as well. Though I also like PN03 soo...

On the one hand it is supposed to be super violent and the graphics style looks very dark and crazy. Insane assasin storyline seems good.

On the other hand one previewer on said that the gamplay was "point and click". That really scares me. Its one thing to have Shenmue cutscene button mashing, but watching a movie of a game looks really disappointing. The delays are usually not a good sign but recent delays like HL2, Halo 2 and RE4 were good ideas.

Oh no! The game everyone loves to hate might actually be good?!?!

Well I'm still looking foward to see what I think might be on of the most stylish approaches to a map system ever. Oh, and the game still looks awesome to me.

thats the thing. there has been no reports yet of people ACTUally playing the game, and it mostly seems like people analyze a trailer to determine how it plays. we know you shoot stuff, and it seems like the non-combat parts control may control like "p & c", but i don't think anyone really knows yet.

I read an old game mag some days ago with a feature about when this game was announced (the Capcom 5). I already forgot completly about the game to be honest and I don't think that's such a great sign :D
