Those screenshots are absolutely terrible, and I don't even know what I'm supposed to be looking at. This game ain't gonna get released.

I really have to give credit to the dev team. I still had no clue how the game will play after seeing so many screenshots.

Looks gorgeous as usual. When is it coming out?

I hope you're kidding. I can think of many N64/PSX-era games that are more visually pleasing than this.

I'm loving this look.. seriously, it looks great to me.. but then again.. i am working on my cel-shaded city and stuff...and can easily appriciate it.

Although these grabs are not very flattering, I must say that with a game this stylish I don't mind if it plays like Dragon Lair.

Your definition of visually pleasing is different than mine, then.

I just wonder why the art seems slightly inconsistent in places. Why have the gradient/shaded look if you're going to put a blurry texture on the floor?

Looking ace otherwise. I suspect some kind of nuts scenario that turns out not to even take place in the real world or something.

You know, I can appreciate the whole "bad art" thing when you apply it to games like Doom 3. A game can look good technically and have poor art. I understand that might be a deal breaker for some. However, this game is soooooooo hard on my eyes that I don't know how one could consider it good art. Everything is so jagged, blotchy and primitive. How can it be good art if it hurts to look at it?

I'm pretty sure that the game looks much better in motion and on a TV. I'm sure Capcom/PS4 have a worthy experience waiting for us, otherwise they would have cancelled it a long time ago like Dead Phoenix.

Shots like these look pretty good:

Then there are some that look like crap:

Overall, I don't dig the style though.

This game has looked worse ever since they announced a PS2 version.

No, not really.

The oldest screenshots were all high-res and AA'd, which is not how it would look on either system.

No, the quality has dropped, but I would argue it happened before the PS2 version was announced. I have the first trailer on my harddrive still, and the game looked much clearner than this. That version is bit more simple than this, but at least it doesn't sitck forks in your eyes.
