Hopefully a 60fps update.
Didn't see a thread open for this. Please close if old
Well, it should be, what's the point if notHopefully a 60fps update.
I still have it on 360. I'd never buy this again. A free upgrade would be nice though, but I don't expect it.
360? You mean Xbox One?I still have it on 360. I'd never buy this again. A free upgrade would be nice though, but I don't expect it.
I did to. The story was the only thing that kept me going it looked like 360 graphics at certain points it was so bad. I just had to rush the main story basically.Just replayed it on PS5 at the beginning of the year. It's pure bliss
It should be soon now, I hope it's 60fps and not just updated graphics.Apparently some saw on the italian store the mention of a PS5 version, but I cannot find it
That's weird, I played the game on a 3070 and the only area that gave me drops was Rattay and never went much lower than 50.I'm playing it on PC right now, and I seriously hope they release a patch to fix this awful optimization. The shadows are the biggest problem, If you set them above medium, the game just lowers your GPU usage, and in some areas you end up dropping below 60 FPS. In that village near the mill, it sometimes barely stays above 30 FPS.
Create a user.cfg text file in your main folder, using Notepad. Add the following commands to it:
This will shift processing burdens from your CPU to your graphics card, and otherwise optimize graphics settings. (The final line adds the archery cursor back in). Once you've done this, you will need to also right click the game name in your Steam Library, select Properties, Launch Options, and then add the launch parameter "+exec user" (without quotes) after whatever other launch options you have (usually heapsize).r_BatchType = 1
r_vsync = 0
r_ssdo = 0
r_antialiasingmode = 3
r_sharpening = 0
e_shadowsmaxtexres = 1024
r_supersampling = 0
sys_MaxFPS = 300
wh_pl_showfirecursor = 1
I tried it on a 4070 and framerate was all over the place with stutters, right at the starting area. I tried playing with the settings, but not much changed other than the game looking worse. It could be a CPU bottleneck, but I would imagine an 11600 is not that bad. Gave up after that and thought I'd wait for a native PS5 version.That's weird, I played the game on a 3070 and the only area that gave me drops was Rattay and never went much lower than 50.
