Kingdom come deliverance PS5 version

fuck yea!!!! i have yet to play the sequel and i keep wishing they release a ps5 ver for the first game

Legendary game. It demands all your time and attention to really get into, but if you commit, you'll be rewarded with one of the best computer role-playing experiences ever.

It's a great game and a proper update for PS5/XSX would be good for a lot of folks.

Hopefully some of that will trickle down to Steam version. It's absolutely playable on modern hardware but way heavier than it needs to be.

Kingdom Come 1 desperately needs a next-gen update or a new version. I tried playing it on Series X and 30 fps ruins the experience, not to mention it looks like ass (compared to the PC version) and there's tons of pop up.

The game is fantastic, and folks deserve to play it at better framerates. Hope Warhorse makes some money off this because I want them to thrive.

I hope they give some love to the visuals. Still an excellent looking game on PC but the SVOGI shadows could get buggy in the interiors.

That's great,any idea when it goes live?I'm ready to start this again from the start after a 20 hours playthrough a few years ago.
Feel like I should finish this first before I go into KC2.

I'm playing it on PC right now, and I seriously hope they release a patch to fix this awful optimization. The shadows are the biggest problem, If you set them above medium, the game just lowers your GPU usage, and in some areas you end up dropping below 60 FPS. In that village near the mill, it sometimes barely stays above 30 FPS.

That's weird, I played the game on a 3070 and the only area that gave me drops was Rattay and never went much lower than 50.

edit: I remember using some custom params to improve performance. Played it a long while ago and can't remember exactly what but you could try this:

Create a user.cfg text file in your main folder, using Notepad. Add the following commands to it:

r_BatchType = 1
r_vsync = 0
r_ssdo = 0
r_antialiasingmode = 3
r_sharpening = 0
e_shadowsmaxtexres = 1024
r_supersampling = 0
sys_MaxFPS = 300
wh_pl_showfirecursor = 1
This will shift processing burdens from your CPU to your graphics card, and otherwise optimize graphics settings. (The final line adds the archery cursor back in). Once you've done this, you will need to also right click the game name in your Steam Library, select Properties, Launch Options, and then add the launch parameter "+exec user" (without quotes) after whatever other launch options you have (usually heapsize).

I tried it on a 4070 and framerate was all over the place with stutters, right at the starting area. I tried playing with the settings, but not much changed other than the game looking worse. It could be a CPU bottleneck, but I would imagine an 11600 is not that bad. Gave up after that and thought I'd wait for a native PS5 version.

At last! I brought it in 2020 dropped it to wait for a patch but finished it before playing KCD2. I loved it but it really needed a patch for current gen. My first play through was on hardcore around 130hr.
