bourbon can be made in any state. It's just not kentucky bourbon. One of my favorite bourbon's is from virginia.

Havent found one I like more

Kirkland is some kind of god awful low budget USA only brand?

Yeah, booze is the right choice from such a provider.

No, it's the greatest brand of all things in all the world. Seriously, it is just a store brand but they are quality oriented. Don't know who makes their bourbon, but their wine is also pretty damn good and ridiculously cheap. Costco's Bulgogi is also kind of great and really cheap.

They are made by this place which makes booze for probably half of the "artisanal american whisky" brands.

They can craft booze to your specs - basically you can tell them "I want 50% corn 40% wheat and 10% malted barley and they will make it for you, then you can age it whichever way you want.

For example they distill whisky for this brand which is $80-90 per bottle (not bad at all BTW).

The best cheap bourbon is Benchmark #8. It's based on a mash used in Buffalo Trace. Smooth.

Kirkland's Vodka is supposed to be another brand with a new label. I am not sure which.

The only decent cheap gin is BevMo's brand. Most cheap gin is god awful, stomach tearing crap. But BevMo's brand while not great is decent enough as a mixer.

Kirkland is Costco's store brand and its known for being of comparable quality to name brands whether you're talking about whiskey or food or household goods or pretty much any other category of product. It's a pretty weird thing since generally store brands are supposed to be b-tier at best.

Ordinarily I go for Makers Mark whiskey but tbh this is probably better. Not that it's overly cheap, a 1L bottle was $30. But it's a solid whiskey for the price, which is generally what you get from Kirkland.

Pretty sure Kirkland bourbon comes from actual well known bourbon brands that’s sold in regular stores at higher rates, much like other Kirkland products. The brands keep try to keep it secret, but they make money they wouldn’t otherwise make by selling under the Kirkland label.

Name brands of just about any food or drink are a huge waste.

Kirkland is priced more competitively than most name brands and just as good. We’re not talking Kroger or great value here

i get kirkland cling film and kitchen foil, stuff like that all the time, frickin huge rolls and cheap. I even bought some kirkland underwear, it owns and is so cheap i immediately bought another multipack, this is after a lifetime of buying underwear 10 times the price bc of the fancy brand i felt like such a schmuck.

The Kirkland booze I'd way better than I expected as well.

Most Kirkland stuff is pretty good though so it's not overly surprising. Their Marg mix is great too!
