Apparently there is a rumored Star Wars movie from Jd Dillard (he made sleight on Netflix)It's fake, projects like these are always announced before they make it into production, and we'd have known about it long before a trailer could be produced. A short promotional teaser could be made to officially announce a project before production begins, but I wouldn't expect that to look anything like this.
That’s not a rumor. He is working on something but it’s not this.Apparently there is a rumored Star Wars movie from Jd Dillard (he made sleight on Netflix)
Disney would have to be fucking high off their minds to even try to do anything related to those disasters.
They have Mandalorian and they have the MCU. They don't need to elbow drop the golden goose to make some money.
I completely forgot the Knights of Ren were a thing.
Which was a shame, because they could’ve made something amazing out of them. Instead we ended up with slightly edgier Stormtroopers.I think we all mentally blocked it out as a traumatic event.
I Know what Knights Of Ren Was from all the literature and Comics Books. This is a small group Luke Instantly Dismantled with the Light Side of the Force!
Some Time afterwards, Luke Had become so powerful with the Light Side of The Force after essentially Communicating With The Light Side - and being told he was bar none the single Jedi to ever posses such immense Restrain and Thus Control within the Light Side - The Light Side Agreed that considering All he knew About The Light Side - If he thought he may benefit from learning of the intricacies of the Dark Side then he Should.
He adopted Knights Of Ren during this era in the Skywalker Mythos to personally describe situations and misinform the enemy while he quickly after a short period realized the Dark Side of the Force is just absolutely Weak and poses no threat to Light Side Users.
Particularly as in this point in time, he had cloned himself several times for one - but could also create multiple variants of himself (Hundreds of Thousands) and had fully dismantled Several Entire Rogue Planets of Sith in this manner. He Was also Masterful now at this point in time, at Event Manipulation at a Galactic Scale. And traveling faster then the Speed Of Light without a Ship and using extremely advanced technologies only described in the Novels! Did That sound like Luke Skywalker in the trailer? Knights of Ren in the books, as far as described - were just a side note and most interestingly used to Describe Luke Skywalker and his own Adventures!!
Is there any Disney show that is set in new SW trilogy timeline?
Seems its all post ROTJ and pre TFA.
How the hell did they turn Luke into the hermit with what the books had for them to pull from!?
Those books aren't canon.
I know, I'm saying they had a lot a material they could have used for the sequel trilogy to create the "new" canon and what they decided on was shit. There were so many great Star Wars book series that could have been turned into great scripts, but for whatever reason Disney thought they could come up with something better (we all know how that turned out).
Those books aren't canon.
Still laughing at those Knights of Ren. In the movie they were hyped as something impressive and then when it finally came for the action...it was like watching an comic con reenactment.
To you maybe.
Just consume.
The Force, duh!He jumped from the back jet to the front jet (shut up nerds!) while they were hurtling through atmosphere? How does that work?
Because Rian Johnson. He wanted to subvert expectations with his story and was less concerned how that story jived with all the existing material. How the hell did they turn Luke into the hermit with what the books had for them to pull from!?
He reminds me of that one kid in the group when you played with your SW toys, that would have his own head cannon and get the names wrong, so everyone would always pile on him and not invite to the play sessions anymore. He then became bitter, held that grudge for decades, used that anger and became stronger, working his way to the top... to shit all over those who have scorned him.Because Rian Johnson. He wanted to subvert expectations with his story and was less concerned how that story jived with all the existing material.

"Years before The Last Jedi began development, the treatment left behind by George Lucas in 2012 also had Episode VIII be the one wherein Luke Skywalker would die," reads one page. Another, titled Colonel Kurtzwalker, states: "Although Luke Skywalker only barely appears in The Force Awakens, the concept artists had a lot to imagine based on the fragments of the story they were hearing as it developed.
"Rey was on a mission to seek out Luke Skywalker, who had disappeared. As described by George Lucas, Rey is like Willard going up river seeking out Colonel Kurtz, an allusion to Apocalypse Now. The story had Rey find Luke on a Jedi temple planet, but he is a recluse, withdrawn into a very dark space and needs to be drawn back from despair."
That whole chapter needs the history eraser button.
The prequel trilogy proves what Lucas wants isn't always good either.New Star Wars book reveals that George Lucas wanted Luke Skywalker to die in Episode 8
