Did they make Prey, or was it the other Arkane that closed a couple years ago? Cause Prey was the bomb.
Also loved the Dishonored games.
The other Arkane was in Austin, they made Prey 2017.

Such a shame they got put on Redfall duty as a follow up….The other Arkane was in Austin, they made Prey 2017.
How did Double Fine survive this onslaught?
Tim is likely working on Psychonauts 3 or another big game. How did Double Fine survive this onslaught?
Tv series only had 1 season but i strongly recommend it too:Blade is cursed, Movie is never going to come out, and it looks like the game won't either.
Ah well, at least Wesley gave us 2 legendary films
that was already shut down lolWhich Arkane? Both branches?
Becuase they can shutter the Redfall one all they want.
What did this one do? I've lost count of these people.

Ms and their employees always seems to lie.Arkane when asked about Blade last week: "Let us cook"

Even if she radically reverses course (which I highly doubt), there is still a lot of slop coming down the pipeline. New projects will require getting rid of the woke developers first and take years to complete. I doubt XBox has that much time left.Xbox is back, Asha Effect
7 years to ship South of Midnight, which is looking to be a terrible misuse of time & money considering what it ended up being.
If they shipped it in say, 3-4 years, like a normal developer with this scope would have - then their next game would have been greenlit and they would have been well into development by now.
This is what happens when you have shit leadership, and furthermore have MS above you.
There are 2 arcane studio, they probably closing the one who made redfallBlade is cursed
So she must cut the gamepassCut the fat Asha.
Especially in tech and gaming where these guys make big money and can churn out junk which is overbudget and not even on time.
Do what every other industry typically does. Go lean and have responsible people who does the job.
Problem is this kind of industry (game making in particular) has a way of acting like the wild west with zero control. At least for companies like MS they can absorb any hits. Many studios on their own shut down and the entire corporation is dead. Never let these overpaid whiners run the asylum.
Even if South of Midnight was the best game ever made, Microsoft (and Microsoft's polices) absolutely sent this game to its death. Day one Gamepass release cut its sales figures drastically, and making it Xbox exclusive for nearly a year means it didn't reach a very wide audience. They were probably banking on the PS5 and Switch 2 port of the game carrying it, but I suspect the sales of a year-old game like this one didn't exactly light the world on fire. It's a shame for Compulsion; SOM showed a lot of potential and talent there. They were the ones with the most points and the best chance of being chosen.

Should someone tell him?

The employees working there just grifted 7 years of nice salaries. And when booted will also geta sweet severance package too. All to create a game (as well as other studios doing something similar) which hardly anyone played.
And some of these kinds of studios have attitude problems where they fight back with customers on social media. You dont see that often in other industries. But in gaming, there's always a chance someone will go ape shit on Twitter at the customer base. Weird people.

The problem is that those games are too hardcore-focused and sell too little.Hopefully not Arkane, get them to make the games they are good at, and not live service ones
