LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Los Angeles has been granted an ABA expansion franchise that will begin play in November.
A final decision on a playing site for the Stars will be made within 10 days, Carl Harris, co-owner with Bruce Johnson, said Tuesday. The team is considering Loyola Marymount, UCLA or Cal State Los Angeles.
Harris declined to reveal the cost of the franchise, but said his company BIGInterActive Group, LLC, would invest more than $1 million.
