Legend is pretty, but a mess really. From what I heard, a massive fire in the studio sets and butchering editing are at least partly responsible.

Dragonslayer was one of the most amazing movies I had seen as a kid. The love story and all was lost on my kid self then but the dragon was really well made. I also liked the sorcerer.

I dont think legend has aged well at all, Williow seems to have aged far better, along with Neverending Story. Prince Bride has aged the best, and is the far better film...

Hmm. Watched Legend Extended Edition, make it absolute nerd heaven and quite boring. Thought the cut was done for many good reasons, I can enjoy that. Just watched Willow for first time month ago, that has NOT aged well. Acting, any action sequences were down right laugh out loud silly. But that is way it should be I guess when you have 20 year old material in age where technology/acting moves so fast, you need silent that part of your brain and just enjoy.

Willow is poopy. It's just George Lucas's Biblical rehash with AD&D rules or something. Definitely not as good as my memories lead me to believe. Val Kilmer did his best in a shit movie though.
