Legend of the Five Rings CCG "Where honor is a force more powerful than steel."

I just recently started playing the Legend of the Five Rings CCG again after not playing it for over 10 years. It's the second longest running CCG to of course Magic the Gathering. If you like feudal Japan and Samurai and of course card games I say check it out.

Here is a good article on the game for new players. http://www.strangeassembly.com/2014/review-ivory-edition-l5r-ccg

And also check out the publisher AEG's site http://www.l5r.com/

With the new Ivory edition set and rules changes I'm really loving the game. My Dad and I played from about '96 till the end of 2002. We still have all our cards from back then and surprisingly a good amount of the "good" cards are still legal. We picked up the new 2 player learn to play set a couple weekends ago and had alot of fun. After that we decided we'd try and find someplace to play locally and luckily there happened to be a small playgroup nearby.

We had a monthly tourney Saturday which amazingly I won with using just my newly purchased starter deck with a couple added cards from a few booster packs.

I'm really looking forward to the special multiplayer box set that is coming out in September. It's kinda like the Archenemy mode that was in the MtG Duels of the Planeswalkers.

Anyone else here play or have played the game?
