This may be a stupid idea, but seeing the new Lego Star Wars game got me to thinking. I think it would be pretty cool if this game spawned a new genre of games based on toys. What i mean is, i would like to see a game about the Transformers, but instead of the art style being like the cartoon or how they would look in real life. I would like to see them modeled exactly like the real toy. You know like stickers and all, hell you could even make it look like the stickers are worn or torn a little bit just like they were when we played with them when we where kids.
There could be a he-man game where all the characters look exaclty like the toy did. You would include the line around the neck, just like the toy had so the head could rotate. And you could make it look all plasticy looking and everything.
This was just a thought, anyone else think this would be a cool little genre for games to branch out in?
