Some of them look better. But some (for my tastes, lots of them) look worse than Crysis, and I'd put Monster Hunter Wilds as the prime example.
This is a very personal opinion but for my tastes modern games have a lot of shit on screen which when paired with low resolutions + recostruction make for some real blurry and ugly graphics. There's also a lot of use of volumetric fogs, or as some poeple call it the "anti-soul gas". Shit sucks.
It's like the new bloom, and ugly trend that I don't like at all. makes for real muted colors, and it's not even "realistic" nor I see any improvements when it comes to the style and visuals.
