Yeah, but I ... uhm .... heard ... that it was pretty choppy in a degree that makes it not really worth playing.

And 80% of those games ended up on ps2 or were shitty PC ports

Well. maybe not 80%, maybe like 5%. My point still stands though.

Austin Powers: Mojo Rally (Take 2 / Rockstar

NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Why are they wasting their resources on games like GTA:SA when they could be producing quality titles like Austin Powers: Mojo Rally?!?!??!

Wasn't there a video floating around somewhere that showcased a demo of Streets of Rage 4?
Ancient produced a series of short tech demos showing how the gameplay would work, including the first person view and team moves. But... it was crap, we weren't missing much (and I'm a big fan of the SoR series, guess where my username came from). Of course a good new SoR could be made (I'd personally like to see the use of the motorbikes that didn't make it into SoR3), they just need to progress the concept. A first person mode isn't the right direction at all.

So...did the games get cancelled because DC was dropped, or because they sucked? And if they were good enough, why weren't they released for other formats?

From that forum...

Yeah I remember that Max Payne was meant to be for PC and DC only - I saw some screen shots of the DC version and they looked great- exactly the same as the PC

Were there actually any screens of MP DC released? As far as I know, there never were any shots, as the DC version was nothing more than talk. I don't believe any major work had been done on the DC version. Every screenshot used to discuss the DC version was simply taken from the PC (and often from the older build).

Also, what's this?

http://www.thelostworlds.net/BO2-Origins.HTML

They seem to be suggesting that Chakan DC became Blood Omen II...

Kind of sad, if true, as Blood Omen II is one of my most hated games this gen. :(

Was there really a Daytona 3 and Last Bronx 2 planned, or are these just titles some rumor mill dreamt of somewhere that just got remembered without the original context? And wasn't the Sonic RPG originally for the Saturn, which in turn surfaced for the DC as Sonic Adventure?
