The History Channel thread is what prompted me to make this topic. The cable TV educational channels may have gone to shit, but those seeking hardcore educational programing need only turn to PBS and this amazing series. 38 seasons. Nearly 700 episodes. Nova isn't dedicated to any one particular subject. You have politics, current events, ALL the different studies of science and physics, history. They've covered everything from Moissanite to Mummies. It's one of the greatest television series ever in my opinion, and nobody EVER talks about it.
And it's commercial free. Paid for by viewers like you.
I NEVER seek this show out. Mostly because I have no idea when it comes on. NOVA needs to do an episode on how PBS structures it's programing schedule. However whenever I see it on I HAVE to watch it.
PBS and Nova. Fuck yeah.
