LightSpeed Japan Studio, the studio led by Devil May Cry 5 and Dragon's Dogma series director Hideaki Itsuno, has announced the establishment of an Osaka office in addition to its Tokyo office, as well as the recruitment of Capcom game veterans Bingo Morihashi, Daigo Ikeno, and Gouda Cheese.

Bingo Morihashi is a scenario writer who will work as a narrative lead. He previously worked on scenarios for the Devil May Cry series, Dragon's Dogma series, and more.

Daigo Ikeno is an illustrator who will work as an art director. He has previously worked on character designs for games like Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 5, and Street Fighter IV.

Gouda Cheese, also known as Bengus, is an illustrator who will work as an art designer. He has previously worked on 2D character designs for games like the Darkstalkers and Marvel vs. Capcom series, as well as the production of the anime Battle Spirits: Shounen Gekiha Dan.

"By establishing studios in both Tokyo and Osaka, we've put together a system that allows us to utilize some of Japan's best game development talent," Itsuno said in a press release. "The newly recruited senior members demonstrate leadership in the fields of narrative development, art direction, and character design, and will serve as a driving force in the creation of our innovative AAA action title. Creating an original AAA intellectual property from the ground up is extremely rare in Japan these days, and that is exactly what we are striving to do."

LightSpeed Japan Studio currently has a team of approximately 40 staff, and is developing a "next-generation cross-platform AAA action title," based on a brand-new intellectual property. The studio is currently hiring across multiple positions in both Tokyo and Osaka.

Ikeno and Bengus are two of the most iconic artists of the 2D Capcom fighters like Street Fighter series and similar.

Fun fact: Bengus also did use as nickname CRMK, Mid Shit or Holy Homerun.

I was influenced partly by Ikeno works.
I learnt anatomy and style from His work in lot of games he worked at. I wish the best for this step.
