Like The Witcher games? Join me in my quest to create a "readthrough" of the books GAF

Hello everyone and welcome to my "shameless plug" thread :D
Recently I've been worked up and depressed because of the fact that I don't have time to practice my arts (I'm an actor who moved to NYC three years ago), stuck in a shitty kitchen job that pays $10/h and with a almost 60h work week (yeiii). So I said to myself that I'll do at least something to combat the cliche of being an actor in NYC but in reality working restaurant jobs all the time, and since my favorite game and book series of all time is the stories and games tied to our pal Geralt of Rivia I decided to try this small project of recording a "readthrough" (basically audible, but for free lol) of the first couple of short stories. You'll notice that the videos changed style after the first one (reason being not having any free time to invest into that kind of video) so I switched to a more streamlined experience :D I have a humble audience (I could fill a small theatre) and I'm not really chasing for the big views, I just want people to enjoy this series as much as I do. So, without further ado, I present to you:

Stories from: The Last Wish

The next part should come out sooner since I had a really bad cold last month :D
Hope you guys like it, if not, abandon thread, see you all on the other side!

Hey there! I'm a huge fan of the series, read all the books and played most of the games. As far as the reading goes, the overall tone of part 2 I feel is the best. Seeing as the Witcher in it's entirety is rather dark and serious it's good to have that feel through the narration. The first and third parts were good, just a little too upbeat? Perhaps it was just the music at certain points of the story that threw me off. The editing of part 1 was definitely unique and cool how you told the story through the images. But the feel of the other 2 videos are just as good, giving a moving visual but not so much it lets the viewer/listener use their imagination. So don't worry about not having time to put something together, what you're doing now will be just fine :)
I hope that's some useful criticism, I really like what you're doing here. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback :D Yeah, the reason I changed the editing style from part 1 to part to was partly because of what you said (to leave the imagination to the listener) and because I wanted to make it seem like Geralt is recalling the stories in his head while meditating hehhehe Noted the upbeatness, the next part is coming up soon (Geralt is about to fight the Striga) so I hope you and everyone else is going to enjoy it 😄 Thanks again, I really appreciate everything you've said!
