Posted October 21, 2004 -- Hip-Hop hottie Lil Kim has been reluctant to talk about her plastic surgery, but the Source Magazine recently recently got her to open up.
In the magazine, which features Fabolous on the cover, the rapper explains her reason for her breast implants and nose jobs.
Kim revealed that she began getting cosmetic surgery to her face after her features became disfigured from years of physical abuse from her ex-boyfriends.
"I've had the black eye, bloody lips, busted nose. I came out of the hospital from getting my nose done and he broke my s**t again, she said. The Brooklyn native didnt specify who her assailant was and didnt say whether or not she pressed charges.
The rapper recollected when she first told former associate Sean P.Diddy Combs of Bad Boy Records that she was going to get implants.
"He cursed me out. He was like, 'You buggin, she recalled. 'But she said the mogul changed his tune dramatically when he saw the doctors work. And after I got everything done, he was like, 'Damn, you look good.' "
Lil Kim still must contend with a looming trial where she is accused of lying under oath to a grand jury. She faces up to 20 years in jail of convicted. The trial is slated to start in January.
In other news, Kim has reportedly begun working on a new album in addition to many charity undertakings she has assumed.
