They cancelled Newlyweds!? Hooray!!

Father of the Pride lasted about 11 episodes out of it's 13 I think, or maybe all of them showed. It was a pretty good show, but it had been pretty much killed once the two guys stopped doing their tiger shows :\

And damnit at Drew Carey's Green Screen. It had wobbly legs at the beginning, but I want more damnit!

The Osbournes?

oh teh noes, where will I be able to see people say "fuck" like every three seconds and have a dog that shits everywhere?

Oh yeah... EVERY HOUSE IN AMERICA. How that show was ever popular, I'll never understand.

Fuck you, HBO!

I would bang a hot farmer!
I guess you could also add Six Feet Under since the final season just started this week. :(

Wow, that is more shows than I even thought were on the air (during primetime).

Strange that Celebrity Justice got axed....not that it was any good, but you'd think their ratings would be alright during this Michael Jackson trial.

nightmare on elm street: real nightmares (cbs) -- shit, was this a real show? I can't belive anyone would invest in some weird Freddy Krueger spinoff. Was this a reality show or someting?

no more Larry Elder, Pat Croce Moving In or Celebrity Justice? Now what the fuck am i supposed to watch at 1am? Oh well, back to hearing PDiddy talk about his acne and jerking off to Girls Gone Wild infomercials.

Grizzlyjin

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
- Jack & Bobby was a pretty good show...
- 8 Simple Rules was pretty much useless without John Ritter, I'm surprised it lasted this long
- Nobody really cared about Law & Order:Trial By Jury anyway. SVU > Original > The Rest
- Fuck Fox for cancelling Tru Calling. That show was going places, man!
- Medical Investigation is actually very watchable, but there are just too many shows like that on these days. It didn't have a chance, especially in that horrible Friday night timeslot

I don't know if all of these shows are cancelled, looks like some of them just ended their season without getting renewed. Like how would The Wonderful World of Disney get cancelled? Why would ABC stop showing Disney movies?

Let's go ahead and add The Comeback already, shall we?

Six Feet Under coming to an end sucks, but at least it's planned by Alan Ball. He's wrapping it up and moving on to films; not like HBO's just dropping it.

extreme makeover: home edition - how'd they do that? will be back next season after MNF.

wasn't revelations more of a mini-series?

wonderful world of disney really never get 'cancelled', it is around when ABC has nothing to show and they open up the Disney vault.

If it was a mini-series, that would piss me off even more. The last episode gave us ZERO answers. NONE! ZIP! NADA!

Plus the series was supposed to be Science and Religion working together, but it ended up being "Prof. becomes Yes-man to Nun."

Thank god, Celebrity Justice is gone! At least other entertainment shows, as horrible as they are, can give you information about actual, upcoming entertainment (i.e. trailers and info about new tv programs/films).

Ah well, nothing that I liked out of the past season has been cancelled, though I don't see why they would. Both Lost and House had stellar ratings!

The best thing about that list is what ISN'T on it:

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

I thank my lucky stars about that every damned day.

Wait a minute, who compiled this list? Is this something you put together yourself? If it is, there are a lot of shows that werent canceled, but the series came to a close.

Everybody Loves Raymond wasnt canceled, the series ended.
NYPD Blue, wasnt canceled, the series ended.
Reveleations was a mini series, not a regular series.
Third Watch's run ended, with a series finale
The Osbournes wasnt canceled, the family didnt want to do it anymore.
Nick & Jessica wasnt canceled, they didnt want to do it anymore.

I think the network definition of cancelled is if it was a series that appeared on air this season, but won't be back next season. No matter what the reason is.

And I had no idea that 'nightmare on elm street: real nightmares' was even on TV. Actually, more than 75% of the stuff on that list I have never watched.

The Contender is probably on the list because it was not renewed for a 2nd season. The entire first season was aired, though. I figured Spike TV might buy the rights and do another season, but they have that U.F.C thing going.

I'm pretty sure Revelations was a test bed for a full series.

TV Tome lists its status as "Canceled/Ended (NBC declined option to make it a regular series)"

There was a Nightmare on Elm Street TV Show?
There was a show that lasted about 2 seasons in 1989-1990 called freddy's nightmares. I've never heard of this CBS one though.

The CBS show was suppose to be like that old MTV show called "FEAR". Basically a group of kids were put in situations where they had to face their worst fears.

themadcowtipper

Smells faintly of rancid stilton.
Did some of these show not even air, because I haven't even heard of nightmare on elm street: real nightmares, I would atleast had tried to catch it.... Either that or they did not advertise it...

Aww that would have been awesome. I loved Fear. I wish MTV would bring it back. That was a kick ass show.

Umm, Joan of Arcadia was cancelled? Wasn't this CBS's highest rated show or close to it?

After seventeen CSI variations, maybe. Even then, probably not.

One show I watched on this list. One. And even that was only because I was usually too lazy after Lost and Alias to change the channel from ABC, so Eyes was on. Wasn't a great show, but it wasn't horrible. I won't miss it.

Actually, I won't miss anything on this list. Granted, that's at least half because I don't have any premium channels, but still. I'm oddly at peace with what's been cancelled and what's not.
