List of games utilizing Renderware engine?

Brandon F

Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
Just wondering if there is a compiled list anywhere, came up in conversation lately when a friend of mine debated purchasing stock in Take-2 interactive.

A simple list would be great.

I don't think there's an official one. If you go to Criterion's website, they'll list selected titles, but they've been reticent about issuing a full one.

It isn't really, except for the whole Rockstar/Take-2 relationship with the engine. The topic swerved is all when EA's buyout came up and we got curious of its abuse.

On the Japan-only side, some of the Sega Ages remakes use it, and so did Black/Matrix II way back in the day.

all burnouts use it and IIRC trickstyle DC was the first to use it.

Was Renderware around prior to the DC? I'm sure it was, but honestly, I can't remember...

Trickstyle was a fun game, but damn, the framerate sucks. :( Shame the PC version does not function properly on my PC (screwy visuals), as I wouldn't mind playing it at 60 fps.

IIRC, Renderware's been around for well over a decade. i seem to remmeber mention of it in a 3D Studio book, when Amigas were still in use and 320x240x256 was being used for 3DS. i'm looking for infon on its history now.
