Bandai Namco will host a Little Nightmares Showcase on June 24 at 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 p.m. ET

Does Little Nightmares need a 'showcase'? I think a release date trailer for Little Nightmares 3 is probably sufficient.

Also just the typical reminder I'm sure people need: Little Nightmares 3 is not made by the original developers Tarsier. They are off making their own spiritual successor called Reanimal which looks a lot better than Supermassive's LN3 (though I'll definitely be grabbing both).

I thought they were supposed to be going in some dumb direction with the new game...

If so, would make sense if they're having a showcase.

Heaven forbid a beloved and unique franchise gets more than 90 seconds of marketing

Let's just skip all excitement and community buildup while we're at it

Hey man I really like the first two games, not trying to hate on it or anything. But these are like 6-7 hours long puzzle platformers, what are we gonna see in a showcase other than a 90 seconds release date trailer? Lol.

Can't wait to see more. Though I have to admit, ReAnimal is looking mighty strong. I'm hoping this showcase will show the team has been hard at work to make lil nightmare 3 the best game it can be.

Finished the first one which I had bought some time ago and loved it, though I'm awful at 3D jumping. Might eventually pick 2 if I see it cheap enough.

2 is better IMO get it!

I played 2 first and loved it from start to finish. Couldn't get through the first game though for some reason. I highly recommend Little Nightmares 2 to anyone who played 1 and felt it was a slog.

Little Nightmares 2 was almost my personal GOTY in 2021. I was deciding between it and Metroid Dread, I even replayed both (since they're fairly short) to decide and ended up settling on Metroid. Not really that important I know, but yes it's a really good game. The hospital chapter is the scariest one between the two games (though the monster in the water chapter in the DLC of the first one plays to my fears and is the runner up).

I really need to try these out. Start with 2 or wait for 3?

Start with 2, as noted above 3 is coming from a different developer so it might end up shit, hard to say. It doesn't look bad but the vibe is definitely different, it's missing something. You know, the je ne sais quoi of a great game.

They will also most likely use this event to give more information on the Little Nightmares Remaster that was recently announced. Hopefully both games will be announced for Switch 2

I don't think I've played these properly, 2 is coming to Game Pass soon, might as well give it a shot.

Loved the first one still haven't got around to beating part 2. 3 has coop so hope my wife will play it. Obviously looking forward to Reanimal as well

LN2 is an absolute gem. One of the most downright weird eerie games I've ever played. It's dripping with atmosphere. There is no way LN3 can hold up to it so Tarsier's Reanimal I'm looking forward to moreso than this.

Forgot to watch, as above Reanimal has rendered this pretty much pointless imo.

The main character design is a world away from what we were used to, has completely out me off.
