Logitech Cordless Precision Controller (Xbox)

I picked one up a few days ago, and while the sticks and triggers are nice, the action buttons are a bit unresponsive. They can be pressed down, but without some additional pressure, the games will not recognize it. It's annoying, especially for fast paced games that require tapping. I also own Logitech's new model PS2 wireless and old model Xbox wireless, and they don't have this problem.

Does anybody else own the Cordless Precision controller? Is this a problem with all of them or is mine just defective?

I had an original PS2 Logitech Wireless.. that thing was a friggin giant... I now have the new version.... very comfortable, very nice improvement over the original.

Oh well. I was kind of hoping it was just mine because the buttons were my only complaint. Can't believe Logitech didn't catch that in quality control. Can't believe it was even an issue to begin with, considering the old Xbox wireless pad and new PS2 wireless both have great button response.

Guess I can try to return it for another old-style Xbox wireless controller. It's bulky and sucks four batteries instead of two, but it works pretty well. Hopefully Logitech will fix this problem in the future.

What everybody else said- yeah, all of them.
I'm getting used to it, but every time I use their PS2 wireless unit, it's difficult to go back.

It may just be a matter of wearing in the contact points. I've encountered that with a some controllers. I have a couple of Pelican Eclipse wireless controllers for Xbox. The buttons had excessive resistence when first purchased, but after about 10 hours of use, they are now perfect.
