Logitech introduces G Pro X2 Superstrike with analogue haptic feedback tech to replicate the feel of mouse clicks

Superstrike technology is a combination of inductive analogue sensing and real-time click haptics. This means you can have the physical feedback of a mouse click at any set actuation point. Logitech says "it doesn't feel exactly like a standard microswitch but it does feel like clicking a mouse." It's "nearly silent", and you can adjust the intensity of the haptic feedback you feel according to five levels.

The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike lets you adjust the mouse click's actuation point or enable rapid trigger, just like you can on a Hall effect or optical keyboard. The X2 Superstrike doesn't use either of these technologies, however, rather a bespoke Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS).

-Can cut click latency by up to 30 ms compared to standard mouse clicks
-Polls at up to 8kHz
-Sensor can hit 88G of acceleration and 888IPS of tracking speed
-65g weight
-Battery lasts for 90 hours of continuous use
-Launch early next year

Thoughts? Not really interested in cutting milliseconds of clicks, but very curious with how it feels.

I could care less about owning something like this, but the technology is interesting. Basically copied what Apple did with their MacBook trackpads years ago when the actual switches were removed.

Don't care about shaving miliseconds as I don't play competetive games, but this would solve my biggest gripe with computer mice - being so f loud! I want a silent mouse that is not rubbish

I'm more interested when a company can use haptics to give me equivalent rumble features on keyboard/mouse (or at least just mouse) as gamepads do.

And also translate rumble from older games with gamepad support to work on that keyboard/mouse. That I'd pay good money for.

I love that their product names sound like they're targeted at 1337 g4m3rs from 2002 lol
