Looking for the best Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4 mods that are close to baseline

Title says it all, but I was wanting some suggestions on good mods for the fallout games mentioned in the title.

I am not looking for mods that radically alter the experience, but I am mainly looking for mods that unlock the framerate, improve performance and offer better perks. I tried using Nexus Mods recommendation, but they turned the game in a crashfest.

I do not mind minor changes to the game, like better weapons, better quests, higher level cap

I am open to any suggestions, but mainly I want something that doesn't radically offer the base game, but I will allow anyone to try and convince me.

This thread should be fun.

Don't know about the other two, but for New Vegas use VeryLastKiss's 'New New Vegas' collection. Amazing curated collection of improvements (700+ mods) while keeping accurate feel/lore of the game. If you have any issues installing, he's STILL active on Discord and helped me out to get the mod working (most people have no issues, but I messed up). Great dude and super patient.

My guy, thats a exhaustive list. Be easier to use youtube, theres plenty of vids covering lore friendly mods, and theres even a tag for it on the Nexus.
For stuff closer to baseline your gonna find that more with New Vegas. Fallout 4 all you need is Sim Settlements. Fallout 3 forget and install A Tale of Two Wastelands so you can play 3 with New Vegas' superior mechanics.

Get Fallout 3 NPC Redesigned and Fallout New Vegas Redesigned at the very least. It's been awhile since I played those as I'm playing modded Skyrim and modded Morrowind before.

A World of Pain is a must for both.

Plenty of other enhancement like NPC Travels

I know its an exhaustive list, but these threads are fun.

I Play New Vegas relatively vanilla, just NMC's texture pack and Radio Free Wasteland (adds more stations, molerat radio FTW) New Vegas is easy to break unfortunately :messenger_grinning_sweat:

This is the list I used for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Modding it yourself without these tailored lists can be a hassle.
