My mate wants to pick up a baseball game for his PS2 and the UK isn't inundated with choice in this field, so I'm checking if there have been any advancements in the import scene. My PS2 has a chip which I got a while back but I picked that up back at Uni. Is there any device (similar to Exploder or whatever it was on PS1) that just plugs in and allows import games or something like Freeloader on the Cube? Chipping tends to be quite pricey still, especially if its only for a baseball game (and he's pretty casual with his gaming). Cheers in advance.

yeah there is that top loading thing, but if your going open your console up you might as well get it chipped.

Forgive my ignorance, but what's this? I'll google the now for some info but as a user, any infor would be class. Is it easy to install/use? And where can I get one? Thanks for any info.

It's the wrong answer to your question.

More expensive than getting the console modded, pretty much pointless for a single game.
