"It's only a shark?" Michael screamed at Sawyer as the two uneasy raft mates flailed about last week. "That makes you feel better?" In a flashback, Michael faced Susan's lawyer, who was much worse. But are they bad enough to be behind the guys who grabbed Walt? Probably not, but you never know. At least Sawyer and Michael (and Jin) made it back to shore. And into another mess. And isn't Desmond as weird and menacing as his hatch? Whatever he's up to can't be good, but the fact that Hurley's numbers mean something to Desmond can't be good for him, either, can they? Tonight, Ana-Lucia Cortez (Michelle Rodriguez) turns up alive. Who can that be good for?

From the previews, both online and the ones showed on TV this may be the episode we were all hoping last week would be. We find out, atleast partially what happens to the other half of the plane(considering Michelle Rodriguez's presence) Desmond finally leaves the hatch, and The Others attack Jin,Sawyer, and Michael....Should be a crazy episode.

Desmond said "Do I know you?" when Jack demanded to know what will happen. I had to play it four times because of his ridiculous accent, but that's what it was. So he obviously recognized Jack as least somewhat.

I didn't see anything in the orientation mentioning the end of the world? From the focus of the labs you would guess it was meant to be a social studies/sleep deprivation study or something.. I'm sure it's not that simple.

Basically, she was on the plane as well. But when the plane broke apart something hit her in the head and she was knocked out. She woke up in the water and made her way to the island for the past 43 days she was looking for survivors and food when she was captured by "The Others" just "yesterday". Sawyer states "Today is your lucky day" and pulls out his gun and reveals that the big black guy who he refers to as "Shaft" is in for a suprise next time he opens their cell door.

sawyer, just said it was her lucky day and pulled out his gun saying the next time the guy came back he was going to shoot him.. just before that they were asking how she had survived.. she woke up in water and swam ashore and didn't say much about all the days since then

Two observations about the film:

This is the third observation center, which means there are at least two more. The Dharma video guy said something about this part of the island, instead of "This particular island" or something like that. I'm thinking there are more hatches on the island.

It was also the third video of six. In theory, the other five are somewhere to be found also.
