My two neices insisted that I go out sledding with them last night, so I threw on my coat without thinking to zip up the pocket that had my car and apartment keys in it. Sure enough when I went to leave later on, I couldn't find 'em. So there I am, 11:30 at night, trudging around miserably in the snow with a flashlight, fultily hoping to find them.
So this morning, after spending the night at my sister's place, I call my landlord to get a copy of my house key; he doesn't have one. What the... ? Now angry and somewhat frantic, I head back outside to look again -- noticing that we've gotten at least three more inches of snow overnight. Fuckbeans.
Fast forward about an hour or so, I'm just about ready to surrender defeat to roughly 2,000 square feet of frozen, sled-tracked yard when my eye spots a tiny dot of red poking out: It's the Knuckles keychain that one JackFrost2012 (a certain Andrew Vestal, IIRC) sent me from Japan in the last summer mix exchange. :lol
Needless to say, he is now my hero in a sort of roundabout way, Knuckles is the best Sonic character, and I'll be getting about 27 copies of these damn keys to keep everywhere.
