Well, like the title says. This is all speculation, so I won't put any spoiler tags on it.

My first and only speculation is that Hurley will end up being a computer geek hacker who hacked into some system he shouldn't have or he hacked into a bank and stole money. That's why he was running and why he said the Hurley isn't his real name (it's his "online" name).
