The villain here just makes the game, I think his act in Breaking Bad got him here. Anton is a familiar face (Gus) from Breaking bad. The actual name of the actor is Giancarlo Esposito and put together another great performance here with the video game Farcry 6, and hold up, this is my first Farcry game.

Damn that was a crazy ride. I forgot how big Ubisoft open world games are, the graphics caught me off guard.

It’s so funny when open world games like this give you so many choices on how to play or what to do and I end up just doing the bare bones basic linear story, this time with a little achievement hunting with things like fish 10 fish, destroy every military stronghold, fully upgrade a weapon etc.

The world of Yara here is legitimate, the ending is satisfying and the story is a service to revolutionary uprising societies.

What did GAF think of Farcry 6? Brilliant or total cheese?

Series peaked at 2 IMO. It was actually a really unique game at the time.

Agreed. I found it pretty but pretty bland gameplay wise. I think 3 was the highlight of the series and it's been steadily downhill since then.

After trudging through FC6, Ubi will really need to shake the formula up to get me onboard for FC7.

They need to bring back that simple, fun XP and skill system from 3 & 4. Ever since they ditched that everything has gone downhill (except Primal. That one is still great)

It was better than FC4, maybe FC3. But they're all just dumb fun though. Characters were super annoying but the story and gameplay were pretty good. Series definitely peaked at FC2.

This game is a disaster in te most absolute sense. I've played literally every Far Cry game and this is without a doubt the worst one they've ever made. I can write a 12 page essay on the brilliance of Far Cry 2 compared to this absolute clown show of a game.

They took everything that made Far Cry good and thought "how can I make this mechanic more videogame-y, tedious and boring at the same time".

A huge step back in many ways, a bland uninspired sloppy mess of a game.

I hope everyone involved in this project was fired.

Alright I’ll buy that, to keep your interest what do you think about Farcry 7 and its development? Can’t wait to see what they do myself now after finishing my first far cry game.

Could be. Usually there's something to like in most games to keep me going a bit farther just not in this case.
