Thing is, that actually helps. I took a swing and a miss at what to expect and it didn't work out. Knowing what sort of thing the game does helps, so I'll probably have more fun next time I try.

As first time Player, I also usually burn my first run, just so I'll get a feeling of the area, the layout, the security and the potentials for scripted kills.
Then I quit and start a new run where I do everything just as I want to.
These games are REALLY good but I'm entirely too OCD for them. I got about 10 hours in and had to stop. It sounds weird but it's...too open, too many choices for me. I get like a paralysis of choice thing and I end up not having fun because I wonder if I should reload and try different approaches bla bla.
If you look closer, doing the objectives (scripted kills) are a lot more linear because you have to do them in sequence. It's only "open" in terms of taking out the target which just boils to run and shoot them escape.
