Lucifer on Netflix

This is comedy right?
You ever watched a terrible show but it has too much an interesting premise that you just can't stop watching because you wqnt to know how it turns out...?

HBO should make a more serious and mature version of this plot it would be interesting to see a serious take on this show.

Isn't the premise of this show Lucifer comes to Earth and sloves random crimes with a human sidekick? So it's pretty much a buddy cop show.

kinda, he is also in love with the cop but the annoying part is no one believes him when he tells him who he is. I am 6 episodes into the second season and she still does not know he is really serious about being the devil

it is really cheesy but I can't help but like these characters, some of this acting is B-movie level bad lol

Well, that is the hook that is supposed to keep you going. It's cheap, but effective... the bigger issue is the "I'm about to tell you! I WILL SHOW YOU NOW!!!" *something happens and he can't reveal it*
If I needed an example for a show that blue balls you constantly it would be Lucifer. I still like it, though.

I'm glad that Netflix Amazon picked it up for a 4th season, because that season 3 cliffhanger at the end would've been beyond shit if that had been the end of the show. lol

I really love Lucifer, I was so sad when it was cancelled. Whenever he goes full Devil mode I mark out pretty hard.

dear god, I am on netflix and now Amazon has season 4? Yeah it should be called Blue Balls the Series
Now I feel I should not watch anymore because I hate cliffhangers that has no resolutions unless season 4 is the final season
would hate to have to get Youtube Red or Hulu for Season 5

Wait, I just checked again. Season 4 is on Netflix (comes in May and is 10 episodes). Sorry, I was thinking about Expanse and Lucifer, both were cancelled by their original show runners pretty much at the same time and then both got picked up by Netflix and Amazon after a huge social media outcry.

I think you should keep on watching.

I always have trouble with episodes where the lead character is feeling guilty and season 2 episode 6 is giving me some trouble
all this I feel bad because I killed my shitty brother thing

I want to get to the end of season 3 but not sure I'll be able to finish

I think its great, we have enough hyper serious shows in existence right now, I feel it strattles the lines just fine and am super glad netflix saved it.

I love this show. It's not prestige or anything (altough 3rd season's 7th episode genuinelly is onw of 2018's best hours of television), but it's just so damn entertaining. I adore those characters and it's rare case when there's nobody in main cast I actually dislike. Plus most of the time it's funnier than majority of actual comedies running today on TV.

Yup. The actor for Lucifer is perfect, even the car he drives is perfect for the character.

Show rests on the strength of the Lucifer actor and most of the actors fit. Maize's actress is perfect for her character as well.

The cases are often such a far, far away B plot that you wonder why they don't just ditch the procedural stuff. Everyone watches for the celestial soap opera hijinx.

Season 4 was better in some ways than previous seasons. It focused on Lucifer more. The show is at it's best when Lucifer is interacting with the supernatural but they have three seasons of bad lore writing to deal with. Eve was the highlight of the entire season. Also, because it's on Netflix they have a "woke" episode and Netflix never saw a black character that they didn't want the police to brutalize, very cringey stuff.

edit - Another thing, the devil face looked much better this season. Need to give him some horns though.

I've been leaving the show on while I fall asleep, and so far it's done a good job of not keeping me awake. Granted I'm not giving it 100% attention but it doesn't seem like a brain buster show. I will say, almost everyone in the show is like a 10/10 hottie though.

Netflix picking this show up was prolly the best thing that could've happened. The 4th season was miles above the other ones and it even had proper closure, despite the showrunners already having plans for a season 5 (not been renewed yet, so I'm glad that season 4 ended the way it did). No blue balling at the end felt refreshing for this show.

I used to have it on as background noise.... mainly because the hot chicks.

Not the main cop girl, though. She looks like if you touched her, she would probably be sticky.

I thought it was a typical cheesy romance show in which the 2 main characters drag out their romantic feelings until they eventually hookup and then the show falls off a cliff because there is nothing compelling to watch anymore.
