Lumines Music...Anyone Have

I've heard so much about the music in Lumines that I want to hear it very badly...anyone have any ripped music from this game?

I'm buying a PSP on launch just for this game just for the music :)

In actuality, the Mondo Grosso "Shake Ya Body" track is like +8 minutes long and should have been cut down to half that length (like the version in the game).

I think there was a version in (I think) Portuguese on the MG4 remix album (which I don't have, but my friend has it)...it kicks ass!

i don't want to hijack your thread, turok4n64, but has anyone ripped music from kotoba no puzzle mojipittan daijiten? better yet, is there an ost planned?

Checked. aoi tsuki was kind enough to host them, so he should give you the URL in a minute or so.
Thank you very much. :D
I had a hard time finding this on any P2P service.

Edit: Thank you aoi as well. It is greatly appreciated.

While we're here, did anyone ever make a better rip of the Ridge Racers music? There was one out there but it wasn't ideal quality.

Are you talking about the one that Defensor posted? The quality was great.

I need this game. I've heard two tracks from it, and they were both insanely good. It's amazing, how just adding some excellent music and style to a puzzler can make it so much more interesting.

Yeah, the Ridge Racers OST was great quality considering the method. It'll definitely hold me till a proper OST is released.

Meh to Ridge Racers, I want a Lumines OST! Is there a sound test in Lumines? I'm hoping someone to make a rip of the tracks but I imagine it'd be difficult if there's no sound test

The licensed songs are good, but IMO some of the original music ('Waterflower & Lights etc) is better. Brilliant mellow electronica.

edit - wow, that's the extended album version of Shinin', which is a little different to the game. Better actually IMO. One of the best songs of the year period.

Yes. Thanks so much for uploading Shinin, that's the other track I had heard, I've got it in a gameplay video of the game and fucking loved it, but having it in a gameplay video was annoying, and it was low quality and cut short. And yeah, that full version is quite a bit different than the one in the game, but damn, they're both fantastic.

If possible listen to the track he does with BoA: Everything Needs Love.

(I don't think it's in the game)
I think I have heard that before somewhere. I like Boa's music as well.

After hearing just that one track, I am already a fan of Grosso. Anyone, PLEASE give me as much info as needed, like album recommendations and the such.

I don't think a rip has been done of the PSP version yet, and there certainly isn't a soundtrack around, but I do know that a PSF2 rip of the PS2 version exists. If you're not familiar with PSF2, it's an emulated game music format. You'll need a Winamp plugin or another dedicated player to listen to the files, but they sound great. You can find the Mojipittan rip
here.

Also, for whatever it's worth, the main theme song from Mojipittan is playable in the original Taiko no Tatsujin game. :D

Edit: Holy shit, I just grabbed the PSF2 rip. I had no idea how many great songs were in Mojipittan, including a ton that reference other Namco games like these:

18 Mappy Stage.psf2
19 Pacman Stage.psf2
20 Klonoa Stage.psf2
21 Driller Stage.psf2
22 Taiko no Tatsujin Stage.psf2

:OOOOOO

I'm listening to Pacman Stage right now and it rocks. It's a kick-ass remix of music from Pac-Mania!

there is no soundtrack, just a couple of mp3s from the albums the songs are from :p

i took them down but i'll put them back up, check back later in a couple hours :p

Johnny, check the link provided for a version of Shinin. It is not much but it is a start, and it should hold you over until Mairu gets his back up.

Link

Edit: Link Click this link for a live version of Mondo Grosso's Shake Ya Body.

They're all in the PSP version too. As far as I can tell, the soundtrack is the same as the PS2 version with a few extra remix versions, some of which can be downloaded from Namco's site.
