Wow, this game is unreal... I love it. My girlfriend doubled my high score, and since shes playing videogames I like it even more. I do have a few questions about the game:

-Do I always start from the beginning in challenge mode?
-Does the game get harder, or is it just because theres a longer time for blocks to be on the screen
-Do skins make a difference in difficulty
-Does the game actually end?


Also, any tips would be great... thanks

Yep.

It gets harder, yes. Different levels have different speeds, but for the most part, the difficulty progression is pretty steady.

-Do skins make a difference in difficulty

The speed of the song is ultimately what determines the difficulty. Unless I'm misunderstanding your question?

-Does the game actually end?

There's a final song/skin, but once you pass it, it just loops back to the beginning. The score counter goes up to 999,999, at which point you can unlock one final skin. But then of course there's also Puzzle Mode, VS CPU Mode, etc.

Not challenge mode, but when you hit 999,999 you crack the score limit and unlock the final skin. Versus mode ends if you beat all the characters, and you unlock a bonus skin.

Yeah great game!! I am still crap at it but i still play it

- In Challenge Mode you always start on the "Shinin’" Skin
- It gets harder, but it is a good learning curve, It builds up as you further into the game and actually help you get better at it. I am finding the difficulty always seems to peek at the "Just" skin for me now, I know others are better though.
- Thy are there to confuse you to make the game harder, some of the skin jumps try to throw you off, some have a slower timeline and some quicker.
- Not until you go crazy, or reach 999,999, I think the levels keep going up, I never seen anyone’s stop yet, so it doesn’t have an ending.

Question: I've gotten everything that's unlockable listed on gamefaqs.com, yet there's still 2 blank slots in the character/icon selection menu. Did they intentionally leave 2 blank slots or are there 2 more characters that I can unlock? I've beaten everything including getting 999,999 points

And the game stops switching skins after going through the 'playlist' twice. and imo it's the hardest part of the game when aiming for 999,999 points

Not that far but are the blank chars "?'s" Also so it stops on shinin' or Lights?

Lol unlocking all the skins isn't near as easy as wario makes it sound. He's been on the top 20 scoring list for ages if i'm remembering right. If you do though more power to you. Since 3/24 i still have the last 4 vs. modes, 600 time attack battle, 2 puzzle modes (i can't even pass cross the first one, wtf am i supposed to do #$%^& lol), and of course the elusive 999,999 screen.

I've seen you post this in so many threads. Most PSP games are 40, not 50. The only ones that are 50 are EA and Activision.
