It seems that, as a registered owner of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, I've been invited to join something called "The Luminoth Temple.
Now, I'm somewhat interested in this -- it might be that Nintendo is actually trying to appeal to "da mature gamer" crowd, or something like that. All I really want is free stuff. However, I can't get either one... going to the site and attempting to register simply tells me that I am not qualified to register. There's no place to enter the secret code, either.
Any thoughts?

Okay, I was stupidly using a password that was one character too short... now I'm registered, "pending confirmation." Strangely, the registration code in the e-mail wasn't asked for at any point. I wonder if there is any merit to this, or if it's just another pointless advertising gimmick?
Seems strange to give it a Metroid theme, unless this is a giant promotion for Hunters... and that just doesn't seem very likely.
