Yep. One of the things I still like about it is that they can be funny as hell and not need to use cussing to make a point.

I recently got the first 3 seasons on DVD. It's great that you can turn off the laugh track... and finally see some missing scenes. I wish the DVD had a Play All feature though. Anyway, great show... my favorite sitcom ever. Since i grew up on it, 4077 feels like home to me.

Just saw Blake's death last night ):

I won't watch anything past season 3 though. I used to, but the dynamics of the camp changed in unfunny ways once Blake left; no more ineffectual leader with the corporal who is really running things. I never liked BJ. And all the characters became slightly watered down versions of Hawkeye... even Houlihan eventually.

Eh, I kind of like how it changed after Blake died. It's a good thing the show didn't stay the same and risk becoming stale IMHO. I've never seen an ep of MASH that I didn't like, even the later ones. Besides, Potter was the man.

I used to absolutely hate this show. I still try and convince myself I hate it and I change it any time a rerun comes on.

But whenever I sit there and watch it, I really do enjoy it. I should be more open to the show lol.
