Demigod Mac is considering this product.

However, some have noted that it has bandwidth problems with HD signals.

Please discuss!

I've not used that one, I own the Pelican Component Selector, but its $90
It does switch optical which is pretty darn nice if you have a ps2, xbox and DVD player.

I've not had any problems with it and HD with my projector/xblaster

Generally, you get what you pay for.
If you own a HDTV I would get the pelican switcher
 
As far as playing games in 480p I have not had any complaints with this thing. I'm not Snooty McPicturePerfect though so I may be missing something. My dvd player though does rarely flicker for a fraction of a second some red or blue lines across the image, but that may be due to either poor cables/connections or the fact it was like a $40 progressive scan DVD player from Radio Shack or Suncoast or somewhere random.
 
bandwidth isn't an issue with passive switches like this one. i use one for my ps2 and xbox, it passes hd signals fine, and i haven't noticed any image degradation. i'm not hugely anal about video quality, though.
