week 1 preseason games are up. the site is still in progress somewhat due to the fact that i'm playing with a few ideas (such as hosting weekly awards on my own site so i can actually do something NICE with it), but we can play our week 1 games. but before i unlock preseason week 1, i am going to be posting rules as well as expectations for stat entering. i will post a link here when that is done, but you can check out the schedule if you like!

optional cone was an experiment that not many people liked (at least those that commented on it). if there is a big movement toward no-cone from the league i'll re-evaluate that, but from what i understand the majority of the league thinks cone is a good thing

BigZep is going to be gone a couple of days, so you won't know your next opponent 'till he gets back. Bluemax and Duce have not played yet AFAIK.

The league rules are incredibly well stated. Nothing is left out. I think the lack of push for the non cone was because we were all joyful of not having to start with it up. If you could start with it centered that would be one thing but you can't and those extra few tenths of a second get you killed half the time. Other than that they look great. You do need the defensive line stunting manually this year because otherwise the poonah AI on D will get you Ran on allll day. They don't even cover their gaps.
