LONDON (Reuters) - A British man who accidentally shot himself in the testicles after drinking 15 pints of beer was jailed for five years on Tuesday for possessing an illegal firearm, a court spokesman said.

the man just lost his nuts...the polite thing to do would be to not send him to jail.

Not only is justice blind, it can be stupid too. First taking into account his 'accident', but 5 years? That seems kind of stiff for just possessing a firearm, however unregistered it may be. He should have shot someone with it, he would have gotten a lighter sentence.
