I saw the movie recently for the first time, but I already knew the movie's big "secret" from hearing about it over the years. Though still, the movie was a big mind trip for me considering the fact that I couldn't tell if the person who played Dil was a man or woman in real life.

Oh yeah. I don't think I'll ever look at Forrest Whitaker the same again. :lol

Yeah. I couldn't tell. I mean there were shots from the camera where it looked like a woman and then there were other shots that made him look like almost like a man. Even after he cut his hair to look like someone else, I still was undecided on the issue. I had to search the internet for the answer afterwards. :lol

Yeah, but I loved the shot of Forest's character after Dil was outed where he casually walks out of the shadows tossing a polo ball with a smirk. That was OWNED before OWNED was popular.

I also had a laugh at the giant 'dramatic' moment when the dude tells Dil he got Forest's character killed. "You knew my Jimmy?" [me] Yeah, I knew your fucking jimmy! It was less than six inches from my goddamm nose![/me].

That's what I thought when I saw this thread.

"You got anymore of that gum Ace?"
"That's none of your damn business."
