Manchester United V Tottenham Hotspurs - Europa League Final 2025

I joked a bit ago that United's season might come down to whether or not they are better than Spurs. And here we are. Hoping United can pull out the win.

It's mad how it seems like Spurs are always a bit worse than United in the past few decades. United having their worse season ever and somehow Spurs are still worse lol

I don't care how scrappy that performance was, a win is a win. We deserved it in the end. Get fucked haters. COYS!

Jammy goal then parked the bus. That type of shit will have you bent over by the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona, Inter etc.
Ya'll are going to be the whipping boys of the Champions League next season.

Congrats and all but it was a shit final by two shite teams.

Literally congratulated you on the win but also remaining realistic if either team made the Champions League next season.

Its the worst Tottenham and United team in years.

A back handed congratulations.

I think it was our worst performance in the league in a years. I don't think it's our worst team though. We have definitely underperformed. We have plenty of individually talented players, and promising youngsters. We don't have squad depth and have been plagued with injuries. The heart of our midfield was absent in this final, no creative output whatsoever, because we lacked Kulu, Madders and Bergvall.

Hence my comment that you lot will be the whipping boys of the Champions League next season. You can quote me on that. The tops teams will all be strengthening in the summer. If United had won it would be papering over the cracks. This has been one of the worst EL finals in years by two of the worst EPL teams in years.

Tottenham scored a jammy goal and sat back the entire game offering absolutely nothing in attack. Like I said that sort of tactic will get ruthlessly exposed in the Champions League where the opposition quality is of a much higher standard.

Like I said congrats but the standards in the Champions League is a lot higher and you'll need strength in depth to compete. Hopefully it all works out for you in the end.

I mean, that kind of just goes without saying. Obviously, there needs to be changes in order to be remotely competitive in the CL. But this is our first trophy in like 17 years I'm not even worried about next season lol.

Who do you support out of curiosity? Any if you say Arsenal, I'm reporting you.

You'll have the funds to do that I think. Is it 100 million for the EL winners? Sizeable chunk to go towards strengthening in the summer.

No I don't support Arsenal but always admired Arsene Wenger for the work he did at that club back in the day. I used to support Real Madrid way back when they had they had names like Figo, Zidane, Raul. But I rarely watch football anymore, try and keep upto date in the news artiles and catch the big games or final rounds of a competition if i can. The time zones in my region make it incredibly hard to tune in and subscription services are expensive for the various leagues.

I'm not going to pay hundreds of dollars to 3 service providers to catch the EPL, La Liga or Serie A.

When I read "Manchester United", I hear in my head a cockney accent.

Am I the only one who hears that?

Sorry to be SO off topic

My son rung me last night to rub it in my team finally win a trophy

Even in victory we fail :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Might have to take a ram stick out his pc :messenger_smirking:
