Not a good month for reviews in that issue!

Tell us how Musashi is! Whoever gets the disc. And uh, YS I guess.

Hmmm, I was hoping for more from Area 51, but that's just one review.

Can someone tell me if the Sega Classics game is the one that has Virtua Racing in it?

SEGA Classics is just more proof that SEGA is retarded. They should have done a collection of faithful emulations/ports of their classic games. Instead we get a bunch of outsourced remakes made with tiny budgets that are actually inferior to the originals. Give me the original Golden Axe, or give me a new Golden Axe sequel that does the franchise justice. Don't give me these shovelware low-budget remakes.

Sony is shipping it to every Playstation Underground member already.

And it's unbelievable. :D

WTF? I haven't gotten mine!!!!

*shakes fence in general direction of SCEA

someone explain the socom maps on demo disks to me. I thought they were for use online only... so what's the big draw about getting from a magazine rather than downloading them yourself? Or is it only availible through the demo disks?

The braniacs at Zipper didn't design the game to download the maps over the internet. So, the demo disks write them to the hard drive right where SOCOM 2 checks.

Except people like me and Defensor, last I checked.

I didn't get one either. What I did get, though, was an email with a link to a 12 page survey to take. Sony loves me.

So there was no one bitching that you had to pay 10 bucks per map at the time?

Question - is this mag out in stores. i just stopped by one and all they had was the Feb 2005 issue....I really wanna check out the Area 51 demo.

What a disappointing batch of action game scores. Combined with earlier p/reviews Nanobreaker, Death by Degrees, the latest Tenchu all are being penned in for $10-$15 future curiosity buys now, if that.

Area 51 though continues to sound promising, played great on the OXM disc.
