Below are photos of Mariah's night out on the town following the BET Awards on Tuesday, June 28, 2005. Mariah went to dinner with some friends at Koi in Beverly Hills, California and later on, posed with a homeless man in a wheelchair.

Celebs trip me out. Like a homeless guy give a fuck about Mariah Carey? On a few levels that is pretty demeaning to him. She is using him as a fucking prop for a picture. Like that is supposed to enrich his life or something. Why don't you buy him a house or something. Stupid bitch.

Exact thing I thought when I saw the first pic. The guy who works in the import shop that loved Serafitia used it.

While I think that Mariah has the ego the size of her bank account and I think demeaning that guy like that so she can get a laugh is a pretty horrible thing to do...I would hit that until I threw out my back.

I honestly dont think she was doing it to deman the guy. I just think celebrities are so far removed from reality (just look at wacko jacko) that she honestly thought she was doing something nice for the guy when in reality he probably doesn't even know who she is.

I always assumed drugs was one of the main things that drove people to this livestyle. It can be a lot of things.

Tends to be both. A lot of homeless people tend to be normal but have a substance problem of some sort, and on occassion you have situations where, say, a mental institution or adult daycare closes and some of the tenants have no one to take care of them and nowhere to go, so the closest bus line or shelter begins to look promising
