Okay this is probably old news but I do like the single cart for Vs. Player. However when both players have a cartridge and still have to wait an excruciating 5 minutes (or more) for the thing to download (we only got it to work 1 out of 3 times, bleh) that's a bunch of crap. Am I missing something here or do you have to do download play in order to make use of VS.? It seems rediculous that download play is the only option.

Actually I thought this was going to be a complaint about the actual game-play. Really, I think its fucking fun, but it needs some goddamned options. Time extend, number of stars, etc.

I was deceived on how the mp mode was shallow. Damn, give me Perfect Dark Vs settings (co-op, deathmatchs, etc...).

Hopefully Metroid Hunter should be a little better

It's a blast with 4 people, and I've never had any problems. I was playing it in the cafeteria with people I didn't even know. The mode was obviously rushed as an example of what's to come from the DS.

To answer the question, yes, it's the only way to play, even if everyone has a cart (and yes, it is a dumb way to do it--hopefully future games won't be like this)
