Mario Kart Arcade GP: 2 new screen shots

Yeah, picture of your penis... IN A PUBLIC ARCADE. Genius.
You severely underestimate the human race. Or over-estimate. One of the two. Point is, if they keep this feature in America, there will be so many dick pictures it will cease to be shocking.

EDIT: Read pages 173-174 of Steve Kent's book. The salient points:

- Ralph Baer, inventor of home video games, created an arcade game in 1980 that could take pictures of players to go next to their high scores.
- Midway was very interested in the machine and installed a prototype in Chicago.
- The game did very well the first day.
- On the second day, says Baer, "some guy gets up on a chair, drops his pants in front of the camera, and that's the end of the product."

Well I think it looks really fun. I can't wait to find out what all the new weapons do, like that spiny fish. I guess the lightening rod probably just does what the lightening bolt did in earlier mariokarts.

Wonder why the second screen doesn't have the pictures, I kind of wonder what the princess would look like.

That Aries character over on the broken saints blog claims Nintendo is now thinking about porting this for GameCube considering there really is nothing else on the horizon besides Zelda & Mario 128.

I'm fairly sure that it's been planned for GC and arcade since its conception. There wouldn't be much point in using the Triforce otherwise.

Looks absolutely terrible. Nintendo is doomed for good now.

It's out of my understanding how any MK fan can love racing with a perambulator...

BTW, the new screen looks pretty good. Can't wait to play this one.

BTW, Tokyo peeps, there's location tests running this week. It starts tomorrow in Ikebukuro and there are some later in the week in Shibuya and Shinjuku. Anyone fancy trying it out?

Looks better than DD to me, if only cos they use proper lookin karts and not the fugly creations from DD.

Also it sounds a more old-school MK, with coins being back and I think the impressions from a while ago said jump was back as well. Didn't like either MK64 or MKDD so interested so see what a change of developer can do with the series.

Well, if i get the time to I'll go check it out then. I'm kind of interested in seeing what, if any, changes have been made since AOU.
