Mario Kart GP arcade videos

Looks really awesome. (Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man for the win) Hopefully this will come to Rev. Hard to say how it plays, but the track designs and graphics look like they blow away Double Dash. The lighting alone makes a huge difference.

I'm starting to think a quickie GC port in mid 2006 might be better than Rev launch now. It'd be less work and Nintendo will undoubtedly already have enough Mario at launch (between SSB3 and Mario 128)... plus it'd be a nice bonus to those who stuck it out for Twilight Princess.

It's a port that should be ready for the holidays instead..

Actually, that wouldn't be a bad idea given Zelda's delay. GameCube could really use a Nintendo blockbuster this Christmas... I don't see Mario Strikers/DDR/Party 7, Fire Emblem, Batallion Wars and Pokemon XD really pulling it alone. Early 2006 actually looks better so far honestly with just Kirby, Chibi Robo, Odama and Zelda. :/

Nintendo creates gamecube
Nintendo teams up with namco and sega, creating the triforce in order to make arcade to console porting or vice versa easy
Virtua Striker 3 launches for Triforce
Virtua Striker 3 launches for Gamecube
Fzero AX launches for Triforce
Fzero GX launches for Gamecube
Mario Kart launches for Triforce
Nintendo refuses to release it on Gamecube

WTF?

Does anyone else see the missed opportunity to have Mario, Pac-Man, and Sonic all in one title?

Especially considering the fact that it's Nintendo, Namco, and Sega who developed the Triforce?

Lots of people forget that Nintendo already announced that the Revolution supports the Gamecube API. A Revolution port would probably be even less work, considering they wouldn't have the performance and memory issues to deal with when downgrading from Triforce to Gamecube.

This should be a Cube game that has "Revolution bonus features" like how some GB games had GBC features and GBC to GBA happened a little i think... Odds are Rev would have a camera, so then it could simulate the arcade game better.

Need a video camera attachment and LAN to get all the thrills & spills of the arcade version.

I think the game could be a great and goofy example of how Nintendo's wifi service and camera. The question is will they make the camera work at home or will they feer the nut sack.

Reminds me of Diddy Kong Racing, or Mickey's Speedway.

Is it just me that Namco seems to be handling Rare's former work with the company?
