There was an article on him in the paper this morning, about his growing debt and financial troubles.

But now it doesn't matter anymore :(

RIP

In my opinion, he's only behind Pacino and DeNiro as the greatest actor of all-time. But watch On the Waterfront and just see how great he really is. It's sad to see one of the great ones go, but he's in a better place now.

Such a gifted person. I always hoped, even with how troubled he was, that another performance was just around the corner.

LeBron loves his girlfriend. There is no other woman in the world he’d rather have. The problem is, Dwyane’s not a woman.
:( RIP. Strange Empire magazine in the uk did a big massive 10 page tribute to him this month. Wonder if they knew something?

On the set of The Score (2001) he referred to former Muppets director Frank Oz as "Miss Piggy".

HE ruled.

STELLLAAA! Hey STELLLLAAA!!!

I don't think he was the best actor ever or anything, but he was among the greats. The only 'problem' I have with him is that he threw away most of his talent after the 1950's. Except for a brief revival in the early 70's, he didn't too much and what he usually did was terrible. He was pretty arrogant and greedy considering the low quality of most of his work from the 60's onwards (The Godfather being among the few exceptions). Like his friend Dick Cavett said (when asked why he was in so many bad movies/roles, etc.) : "I don't know why he did some of the movies he did. He pissed alot of his talent away."

But for all his many personal and professional faults, I'll always remember seeing On The Waterfront for the first time. Great movie in general and a great performance by Brando.

Terribe, terrible news. I knew he wasn't in the best shape or condition lately, and his screen quality of the past years have been sporadic and plagued by troubles.
Nevertheless, Brando, sometimes a curiosity, is one actor I'd be glad to brand as the greatest of all time. Long live the Legend.

He had a great run.

And of some best movies ever.

On the Waterfront.
Superman
Godfather
Apocalypse Now
Last Tango in Paris

I'm surprised he got to 80 to best honest given some of the turbulance in his life such as his kids fucking up at every opportunity.

"The Horror. The Horror".

:(

Brando will be missed. I hear he was a fun guy to have on the set. A bit of a prankster. So many actors looked to him for inspiration, it's quite a blow for him to be gone. 2 of the three dons are gone. The other two being Mario Puzo and Francis Ford Coppola of course.
