Maybe in Jessica Jones? We're not even getting Bullseye in Daredevil, who'd I put in before Purple Man.
They already have Kingpin, they probably don't want to feel like they're recycling the Daredevil movie with Kingpin/Elektra/Bullseye.

I'm guessing Purple Man is what causes Jessica to get PTSD and quit being a superhero.
I kind of want the Purple Man to be played by Jason biggs.
Badass urban superhero with a heart of gold and a "do the right thing attitude". Very street level. BFF with Iron Fist/Dany Rand. Is in a loving multiracial relationship without fuss nor drama. Punches fools on the regular, which means tons of action. Why should I care about Luke Cage?
Good pick, specially since Enver Gjokaj is not available due to his part in Peggy Carter.

Only for a throwback 70's party that gets crashed by bad guys.Luke better wear the yellow blouse and tiara.

He also has a way with words.
Of all the shows, I'm most excited for Iron Fist.
Bring on Fat Cobra!
What he did to her was one of the cruelest things I seen done outside of a Mark Millar comic.
I was just thinking this the other day. No way it makes it into a Marvel Netflix series, though. (These are part of the MCU, right?)
Yes, but it's on Netflix so they will have much more freedom to be darker.
The purple man shit better make it in. It's incredibly important to Jess and purple man and one of the scariest villians ever
Some freedom, surely, I agree, but if there's going to be crossover with Daredevil, I don't think they're going to get Purple Man straight adaptation dark. That's some seriously R-rated stuff. I presume Marvel will still want this to have fairly wide appeal.
Oh, don't get me wrong. He should definitely be in. I just would be shocked if he was as vile as he was in Alias.
Is that first panel a reference to that Nick Fury comic?
The way it was done in the comics was fairly restrained. I can see the show trying to portray those scenes in similar fashion; mostly implied instead of actually shown on screen.
I can't see why Marvel wouldn't take bigger risks given that this will be on Netflix AND the fact that JJ is one of their darker properties. AoS has already gone mighty dark in the latest couple of episodes, and it's not even on a streaming platform.
I think they will actually Netflix can afford to be bold. The only thing we won't get is the Jean Grey cameo for obvious reasons.
To be fair the Agents of Shield are doing some pretty good excuse for the Purple Man/JJ thingwith the mind control storyline
[edit]they will probably fly over the big details[/edit]
That is too subtle for me, I only know the true comic fuckery.
yeah, leaving folks to fill in the blanks is an under utilized tool. The book didn't really show it. The series doesn't have to either. The grossness can actually be more effective if implied rather than explicitly depicted. That would take some skillful writing and acting though.

its dark but they could always simply show him controlling her (maybe making her commit crimes) and once she is "freed" have her use the "you don't know what he made me do?" line. [/SPOILER]
We have a source in New York who happens to actually live with a crew/cast member of the Marvel/Netflix DAREDEVIL series. He passes us information when applicable and gave us our biggest bit of news last night. It seems that Matt Murdock will be getting into costume in the series and that costume will be none other than red and black. How does a blind man know what colors he is wearing? We dont know either but were intrigued. The best guess we have is that the suit will look like the one below, seen in the series Shadwoland in 2011, or perhaps more armored, as seen in Daredevil #319-#325. As details arise, well share but we cant wait for the show to hit in May 2015!
Holy fuck motherfucking Danny Iron Fist Rand on the small screen!!?!

They better have a moment when he first makes his costume yellow and red because he has no idea what color it is....hilarity ensues.

Which AoS plotline? Sorry, brain fart here.![]()
Recent episodes showed thatHydra has some powerfull brainwashing techniques with the "happy to comply" keyword to make people do evil things

I wonder if Jessica Jones' childhood crush oncan be worked in slyly somehow withoutPeter Parkerviolating Sony's rights to the property.
I hope so.That reminds me - we're gonna have to get a Carol Danvers soon. Because I can't imagine a version of Jessica Jones where she isn't hanging out with Carol Danvers every now and again.

I can see Paul Rudd agreeing to show up in the TV shows no problem, actually.
Why should I care about Luke Cage?
