Marvel owns Spider-Woman right, or does she fall under the Sony umbrella?
Marvel has her but I think they'll save her since she has ties to HYDRA.
Hellcat is random but I'll take it.

Yes, yes she is.Isn't she that Australian hacker chick in Bayformers 1?
Hellcat was also a member of the Defenders, right? Possible fifth member for the miniseries?
Scott Adkins obviously.
Yup. As long as they keep the dynamic intact, the swap should not be a problem. So she will basicly replace Carol Danvers as Jessicas best superfriend? Was to be expected, but still...

Does Fox own TV rights too?Now I wonder if Jessica'swill be done by Wanda or a different character, given that Jean Grey is not available for obvious reasons.reprogramming

Obviously, this won't be getting as common as in the books but I wouldn't be too surprised if the MCU status quo is that 2 years after Avengers, superpowered people, vigilantes or tech villains aren't entirely exceptional either. Particularly in New York. There's no indication yet as to whether she'll be Hellcat in the MCU. Keep that in mind.
I'm kinda curious what approach they'll take in adapting Alias, since the source material involves superheroes and superhumans in general being much more established and commonplace than they are in the MCU at this point.
They just announced they are working on an X-Men TV show, so...

Interesting choice. Carol is probably off limits since she's set to have her own movie and that probably means lots of aditional negotiations if they wanted to share the same actress. Making Patsy BFF with Jessica instead of Carol makes no difference in terms of storytelling, so it works with me. Now I wonder if Jessica'swill be done by Wanda or a different character, given that Jean Grey is not available for obvious reasons.reprogramming

Not sure what you mean here, are you saying we don't know if she will be hellcat in Jessica Jones? Because my understanding is it's all connected.
Huh? This is not DC and Marvel have not really changed any character actors from TV to film yet. The only change I can really think of is Chuck being in Thor 2 and not the original actor, but that was just a recast.

AHHHH! That makes so much more sense. Thanks.I think he might be referring to people not always having donned their mantle yet, while others have already retired. The MCU doesn't amalgamate characters like DC does but they do play with the timelines a bit, like what they've done with Ant Man and Ultron.

Doesn't make sense to me. Age of Ultron is happening right now in today's timeline. When Jessica Jones is already a private investigator. I don't think they're doing a series where she starts out as a superhero and they do the origin story in modern day.

Who else do we think will join the team? I'm sure just like Avengers, there will be more than just the star heroes. Hellcat seems very likely. What about Elektra? Or Moon Knight? Blade? Punisher as an ally nobody likes? She-Hulk? Spider Woman? Her new costume will make her much MCU palatable. Shang Chi? Maybe even Hawkguy, bro?Hellcat was also a member of the Defenders, right? Possible fifth member for the miniseries?

I've got her actress right here.Duuuuuuude we need a She-Hulk show like her most recent run. We already got Patsy.
Netflix. Marvel. Make it happen.
Jessica Jones, ex-Agent of Shield is more than likely going to be how they'll work with this- they can spin it so she's left without a job after the events of CA2.
First Night Nurse, now fucking Hellcat?
Yeah I'm curious about this too, not just in Alias but in the MCU moving forward. I've mentioned this several times before I think. I feel that with Ultron and Ant-Man, there are hints that they're trying to establish a larger backstory for the MCU about heroes and adventures which the public didn't know about.
Purple Man escapes the Fridge in 2014. Jessica Jones, Agent of SHIELD encounters him. SHIELD dissolves, she decides not to join any faction & becomes a PI instead.
AKA, Jessica Jones starts.
OK, this can work.

Send me the monies, Mahvel.
Ugh. That would be perfect. She's only 5'7" though.
I feel like the actress that plays her should be tall already, with mainly a small height/muscle gain. Density > Raw Size. That way the CG budget can stay small.
There are plenty of camera tricks to do that without CG. If height is a must, buffed out Adrianne Palicki would have been amazing (but she's already kicking ass and taking names as Mocking Bird, so I remain unbothered).

Spider-Woman has a figure coming this year too...might be someone to look out for in the MCU.
I'm really getting pretty excited for the side characters in these shows. Marvel Netflix is gonna add so much depth and diversity top the MCU. Do you think we'll see Misty Knight? I could see her introduced in either Iron Fist or Luke Cage. She would fit well in the established MCU as part of the Deathlok program. We know there are more subjects than just Peterson and Garrett.
So ... Game of Thrones has it's trailer and Daredevil starts on the same week.
