The ice berg is 5000 sq km ~ 1930 sq miles.
The 'crack' is about 200 km (124 mi) in length and the iceberg is hanging on by a mere 20 km (12.4 mi).
Size comparison: 1/4th of Wales; about the same as the US state of Delaware
'soon' is within the next few months.
Previously, Larsen A and Larsen B collapsed in 1995 and 2002 respectively.
